13,760,000,000 years is the accepted age of the universe. This 400 page book is a proportional
visual history of that time. In other words, the amount of space between the imagery in this book
is
correlated to the time between the evolutionary milestones that the images and text represent.
The WMDs are a progressive rock band that have been touring through NYC for the last 10 years.
I was approached by them at Rockwood Music Hall in SoHo to put together a postcard and flier based
on their previous graphics and specs. They were soon on board for a full identity overhaul.
Madison South is an emerging southern rock band with roots in NYC as well as Memphis, Tn.
The goal of this series was to create modern(ist) book covers for Shakespearean plays. This was
accomplished by using minimal elements including: type(Gill Sans), lines, and flat color to capture the
story of the play in a bold graphic style.
Monogram, invites, and responses. The theme and decor of the event was pink dogwood.
Large info-graphic posters used to compare the time it takes to complete homework assigned at Parsons
School for Design versus the amount of cigarettes smoked each corresponding day. Both variables were
tracked over a two week period and then averaged out for each day of the week.
Inspired by Stephen Hawking's A Brief History of Time. this collection of essays looks beyond
"History" and
into the future of our universe. It also lightheartedly addresses time-travel and God.
Etaion Shrdlu is a film about the last night of hot metal type setting at The New York Times.
